Caroline Hu, a rising talent in Chinese fashion, brings her distinctive touch to the iconic adidas Samba through her recent collaboration with CLOT. This partnership pays homage to the rich visual heritage of Chinese culture.

The Caroline Hu x CLOT x adidas Samba merges the classic Samba design with Hu’s vibrant and feminine aesthetic. Known for her whimsical creations under her brand, Reverie by Caroline Hu, this collaboration marks her debut in ready-to-wear fashion. It follows her well-received showcase at the CLOT Spring/Summer 2024 Fashion Show in Shanghai.

Inspired by CLOT’s celebrated “HUA REN” collection, which honors Chinese culture, Hu collaborated with her friend, artist Rao Chen, to create unique prints featuring Chinese-style flora and fauna. These intricate designs adorn the sneakers, transforming them into wearable art. The collection also includes t-shirts, crocheted tops, and pleated skirts, blending traditional Chinese themes with contemporary fashion.

Hu remarked, “The collaboration has been a wonderful opportunity to revisit Chinese elements in my designs. This is best expressed through the vibrant colors and detailed prints.”
