NIKE KOBE 4 PROTRO “GOLD MEDAL” - RETURNS AUGUST 2024
The Nike Kobe 4 "Gold Medal" made its debut back in July 2009, and now it's making a comeback in Protro form for Fall 2024.
With the return of Olympic Basketball during the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, from July 27th to August 11th, Nike Basketball is set to release various special edition colorways, including the "Gold Medal" Kobe 4 Protro.
This iteration of the Nike Kobe 4 Protro features a color scheme of White, Dark Obsidian, Varsity Red, and Metallic Gold, mirroring the 2009 version. The Metallic Gold accents on the toe and heel boast a snakeskin texture, while Dark Obsidian adorns the Swoosh logos, liner, and mesh tongues, with additional Gold detailing on the Kobe shield logo. Bryant's Olympic number "10" graces the heels, accompanied by his signature on the sides. White covers the panels with Obsidian FlyWire, while the insoles showcase Olympic medals with the date "08.24.08." The design is completed with White midsoles and a rubber outsole featuring a mix of all these shades.
The Nike Kobe 4 Protro "Gold Medal" is set to release on August 5, 2024, at select Nike Basketball retailers in-store, online, and on Nike.com. Available in men's sizes, it will be priced at $190 USD.
Prepare to commemorate history with the return of the "Gold Medal" Kobe 4 Protro, a fitting tribute to the 2024 Summer Olympics. Don't miss your chance to own this iconic release!
